COME, LOOK UNDER THE SURFACE

Spelunking is a type of climbing that digs beneath the surface of the earth, exploring what lies beneath. For The Ascent, spelunking groups are small groups where students become involved in consistent spiritual growth by tackling issues core to themselves, discussing, talking, and sharing with each other.  Each spelunking group meets weekly and is formed around a topical area of interest (i.e. movie group, music group, philosophy group, Simpsons group, skate group, etc.).   Each group uses the area of interest as a discussion starter to dig deeper with God and each other.
